Natural Wood Rattle Teething Toy These baby-safe rattles have been made in the USA by a small family business in Oregon for over twenty years. The sound of these rattles is simply irresistible for babies (and adults too!) Some young babies who crawl around at our store grab one out of the basket near the floor. Then the baby doesn't want to let the rattle go, so the parent ends up buying one. These unique rattles are handmade from remnant woods of Oregon. No living trees are ever cut. They are filled with copper & zinc bbs, hand-sanded and finished with Clapham's all-natural bees wax. Hand-made in the U.S.A. Colors vary based on the type of wood used (light, medium, dark color). We'll choose a type of wood for you if that's okay. We have maple and cherry wood in stock currently - which are both light-medium in color.

I love this rattle and I think it would be fun. It makes a great rattling noise, not muted like some cloth options. However, it's not really my baby's favourite. She chomps on EVERYTHING, and this usually just gets tossed aside. I'm not sure if it is too big for her mouth or perhaps she just prefers more varying textures. Either way, I like it and will continue to encourage her to play with this cute little teether/rattle.

These are so great - and so neat to hold in your hand (even for adults). Zora would have LOVED chewing on this while teething. Now I am getting them for all baby showers! Really high quality and unique!
