These natural wood swords and shields are very high quality, made in Germany.  Our girls love these for playing knights.  The sword edges are all soft and rounded, making them safe for play (I figure it's safer than playing with a pointy stick, which they have sometimes done!)  I taught them to just hit each others shield when playing, so it really is quite safe, and super fun for adults to play too!  The swords are always a big hit for birthday gifts for ages 4-10 especially.

Note: Bartl Germany will no longer be selling in the U.S., so once current inventory runs out, we won't be able to get more of these unfortunately.  We still have quite a few at the moment, since we love them so much and want to make them available to as many families as possible.  The other products shown in the photo are available only in very limited quantities, and they are large so it makes them difficult to ship.  Call if interested 512-341-0042.  Or stop by the store in Round Rock, TX, to avoid the shipping costs.  We had to add $5 to the prices to help cover our shipping costs, compared to the prices offered in the store.
